When to use it
A message must be printed, archived or sent to someone without Outlook, and "Print to PDF" breaks lines, loses images or adds the browser's banners.
A file gathers emails from different sources (.msg files from a client, .eml files exported from webmail) and needs PDFs that all look alike.
What this tool does
- One PDF per message, or a single PDF with the messages one after another, each starting on a new page.
- Text stays text: it can be selected, copied and searched. Fonts are embedded; Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and emojis are displayed.
- The message's images (logo, signature, screenshots) are kept; remote images are not loaded and their address is written in their place.
- A production record as an appendix: name, size and SHA-256 fingerprint of the source file, attachments and their fingerprints, full headers, date of production.
- PDF/A as an option for archiving, which can also carry the original file.
What it does not do: The layout is made for correspondence: a newsletter with columns and background images is rendered simplified, and the PDF says so. The record describes the source file; it does not attest that a message is authentic.

- .msg, .eml, .emlx and winmail.dat, and the messages attached inside them.
- Bodies in HTML, plain text or RTF (the form Outlook keeps for formatted messages).
No file is uploaded: the message is read by your browser, in this tab, and the page is not allowed to open a connection to any other site.

- Is the text in the PDF an image?
- No. Text is written as text, with its fonts embedded: it can be selected and found with the PDF reader's search.
- What is the production record for?
- To tie the PDF to the file it came from: the SHA-256 fingerprint of the source file changes if a single byte of the file changes. It says nothing about the authenticity of the message itself.
